Due to their simple design, enclosure climate control components are generally immune to interference.
The functioning of systems with electronic control, however, may be disturbed by other modules in the enclosure or by interference from the surroundings.
Systems with microcontrollers, in particular, call for a careful appraisal of this problem.
Important points are the system interfaces,- power supply,
- door-position switch connection,
- link to master control system,
which offer a line of attack for line-borne interference. Protective measures include the use of shielded cables and/or filters or optocouplers.
