In continuous operation, the necessary or desired temperature inside the housing and the maximum or minimum ambient temperature represent an important basis for the determination of climate control requirements.

The inside temperature is often dictated by the continuous operating temperature of the modules used. As a rule of thumb for modules with electronic components it can be said that:

An increase in the operating temperature by 10 degrees Celsius
corresponds to a halving of the service life.

If no inside temperature is specified, then a value of 35°C represents a good compromise
(service life <-> investment and operating costs for cooling).
It is generally not possible to influence the ambient temperature.
