It is not only the housing size, but also the installation type which determines the dissipation/absorption of heat at the housing surfaces.
The individual surfaces do not contribute equally to heat dissipation/absorption. When calculating the effective surface, it is thus necessary to differentiate between
- single enclosures and
- baying combinations with end and mid-row enclosures, and furthermore between
- free-standing or
- wall-mounted enclosures with
- or without roof (top) panels.
