Air/air heat exchangers comprise a heat exchanger core with a number of rectangular aluminium air ducts assigned alternately to the inside-air circuit and the ambient-air circuit, alongside fans for the enclosure air and the ambient air.
The two air flows are hermetically separated from each other.
The heat generated by the components is transferred from the inside air to the ambient air via the dividing walls (principle: enlargement and forced ventilation of the enclosure surface from both sides).
Air/air heat exchangers possess a long service life thanks to their simple construction. |
