Limit values for exposure of the general population to electrical and magnetic fields have been laid down since 1.1.1997 in the 26th decree pertaining to the Federal Pollution Control Law (26. BlmSchV). The provisions are applicable to places at which persons are not only present temporarily.
The decree covers stationary high-voltage systems (> 1000 V operating voltage), low-voltage equipment (electrical installations in buildings, electrical appliances). not low-voltage equipment (electrical installations in buildings, electrical appliances). |
