Alternating low-frequency electrical and magnetic fields produce a current flow in the (conducting) body. The body currents arising from technical fields correspond to those produced by rapid movements with the terrestrial magnetic field.
Fields can only be perceived indirectly (no corresponding sense organ in humans), e.g. vibration of body hairs. |
