The arising interference takes the form of voltages and currents, or electrical, magnetic or electromagnetic fields, which occur either continuously, periodically or as random pulses.
Electrical devices with electronic components or modules can be disturbed by interference:
- Impairing of functions,
- Damaging or destruction of components or modules,
- Total failure of the device
with all possible consequences from a temporary loss of production to serious material damage or personal injury.
