| Rittal – More service per customer |
|
Our clients are discerning and demand high standards of security, reliability and service. They are accustomed to nothing short of perfection. A concept such as the "service chain" must be practised on a daily basis by individuals who embody this philosophy through their knowledge, motivation, friendliness and dedication. Their sole aim is to ensure that our customers experience this level of service on a daily basis. This is a chain comprised of many links, which is much more than just the sum of its parts.
» Mass production » Project planning » Application engineering » Customising/prototyping » Trials/testing
» After-sales service Our "service chain" has a beginning, but it has no end. Rittal offers service at an extremely high level. |

Project planning: The first step is to conduct a precise analysis of your requirements based on relevant factors such as location, function and technical status. The complete picture obtained in this way provides the basis for expert selection of suitable components and solutions. |

Application engineering: You outline your requirements to our application consultants, and we show you ways of achieving them. In order to develop the most efficient solution, we will seek to clarify all key questions relating to systems and components as well as specific requirements and developments, e.g. in standardisation. |

Customising/prototyping: Once the appropriate concept has been agreed on with you, the corresponding enclosure and accessory systems from Rittal are put together for your individual application – if this is the ideal solution, Rittal will also implement a prototype for you. By working very closely with you, any optimisation required is implemented quickly and easily, and the prototype is manufactured to your precise requirements. |

Trials/testing: The prototype undergoes an extensive programme of trials and testing in a Rittal test laboratory. Requirements such as mechanical load capacity and protection from dust and humidity are tested, together with specific requirements such as extreme climatic conditions or tough environments. Your advisor will notify you immediately of the outcome of all these tests and checks. Any optimisation requirements are defined, implemented and then subjected to retesting. |

Mass production: As soon as the prototype satisfies the functional reliability requirements, mass production will begin. Prior to delivery, every system undergoes further functional and safety tests in accordance with a specified plan, and is then given an approval which guarantees Rittal quality. |
